Forklift Systems Incorporated would like to thank all who participated in last year’s scholarship submissions. The scholarship essay contest continues to grow with thousands of submissions by students from a multitude of colleges and universities each year.

After much deliberation, we are excited to announce the winner of our 2019 ‘Giving Students A Lift’ Scholarship essay contest.

This year’s recipient is Alec Jobbins of U.C. Berkeley.

Alec’s pursuit of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, his involvement in various collegiate extracurriculars including the Destination Imagination Team, The National Society of Leadership and Success, and Berkeley Formula Race Team, as well as his career as a Junior Olympian and state champion for slalom skiing made him a stand-out candidate for the 2019 scholarship fund.

The Forklift Systems ‘Giving Students A Lift’ annual scholarship award was established to help one promising student each year accomplish his or her dream of achieving a college degree. An annual award of $1,000 will be provided to a deserving undergraduate student.

To enter a submission to our 2020 scholarship award, please visit our scholarship webpage. Be sure to read the rules and regulation details carefully before entering. No purchase or fees are required to enter. We hope to see many students participate.

Forklift Systems congratulates Alec Jobbins, and thanks all of the applicants for their interest and efforts. Good luck in 2020!
